Armando Gutierrez (THEY/ANY), also known as Jaguar Jaguar in the Trees , is a filmmaker, artist, community organizer and creative with many points of inspiration.

From their upbringing in
the bustling border region in South Bay San Diego to their time in the East Bay studying environmental justice,
they have a multitude of influences, experiences and disciplines to call upon.
Similarly , their familial roots in the deserts of Sonora, MX and the lakes of Jalisco and Michoacan, MX , and queer- nonbinary identities influence their art practice and the variety of social justice oriented topics they tackle.
Using mediums such a film, photography, poetry, web design and more, JaguarJaguarInTheTrees’ mission is to inspire, educate and highlight marginlanized voices, stories and expierence through visual mediums.
